I tried the Lutris version, but it doesn't download any songs for me. USDX downloads, installs and runs just fine, but whenever it tries to run the download script, it says something about:
xfce4-terminal: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libgdk-3.so.0: undefined symbol: XRRGetMonitors

Perhaps I need to recompile lutris or something, but it also does this when I install the song-only edition. Strangely, following the urls in the lutris install script and doing some manual hacking on them to know what goes where works just fine (I have ultrastardx-git installed from AUR anyway)

Also, you might want to add a case for *.mlu files in the lutris downloader script thing.

I should really repurpose an old laptop for this someday, and get proper microphones...

Die you use the actual version of MLK? It's important for my Interests, cause i use a older Version (who doesn't do that; but i have the Songs seperately from another Person, so i can run it).

From what I heard, the lutris installer is working fine on many current and old linux distributions. Regarding the *.mlu, these packages are mostly windows-only.

Das Limit der Mikrofone beträgt derzeit noch 6, richtig? Selbst auf "Two-Screen" Setups? Denn auf der offiziellen Seite steht nur immer die Kombination aus "One Screen = 6 players" - daher denke ich vielleicht das es sogar möglich ist mit zwei Schirmen bis zu 8 Mikrofone anzuschließen? Aus Platzgründen kann ich verstehen, dass es nicht möglich ist - auch aus anderen Gründen, irgendwo muss es ein Limit ja geben.

Wäre halt eine nette Sache für das nächste größere Wien-Meetup, finde es aber echt genial das bis zu 6 Spieler mittlerweile auf einen Screen möglich sind, daher nochmal ein großes Dankeschön für die Leistungen!

Ich frage hier nur, weil es jetzt noch ein Monat hin ist und weil ich dann 2 neue Mikrofone besorgen müsste, was kein Problem wäre.

The limit for microphones are still 6, right? Even on two screen setups? On the official site it's labelled with something like "one screen = 6 players" so I thought maybe with a two screen setup I can hook up to 8 microphones or something like that. For screen reasons I would understand the decision to have a limit, even without, because it needs to have a limit.

It's just a nice thing to have for the next bigger austrian meetup in vienna, though it's still very awesome to have up to 6 players on a single screen, therefor a big thanks to the round for those awesome benefits!

Only asking here because it's still one more month up to the meetup and I need to purchase two more microphones to complete the setup.
