Du siehst gerade eine vereinfachte Darstellung unserer Inhalte. Normale Ansicht mit richtiger Formatierung.
Hello, I'm American. I joined on New Year's Day. I thought this might help me get more cultured ,Meeting people from around the world.
If I try to speak German, please forgive me for my terrible understanding of the language.

But besides from that, I hope to meet many new friends.
Welcome
Have Fun^^

Well, Bronies.de is a great chance for doing that.

Actually, its not much of an issue if you only speak a little bit of german. Normaly a lot of young germans or german speaking people learn english as their second language in school, so many people here are able to understand you and you're definitely not the first user here who doesn't speak german. As my colleague already said, it's o.k. if you simply write here in english. I personally speak english very good, but i do have some issues with writing, so please apologize a few mistakes in my grammar.

So, sit back an enjoy germanys biggest brony-forum. As i already mentioned, this is a great place to meet people from nearly every part of the german speaking europe, wich also includes switzerland and austria! And those two countries Liechtenstein and Luxembourg, but no know really cares about them beeing the size of an average american parking spot.

So, to get started, you may want to talk a little bit of the show MLP itself, you should visit our On-Topic forums wich you can find under the headliner My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Please note that the differnce beetween "Pony-Talk" and "Ponyologie" is a bit difficult to understand. So, if you want to talk about topics like "Which is the best pony" you should visit "Pony-Talk". For Questions like "Toilets in cloudsdale" (yes, this thread exists and it's quite funny to read) which are non-canon, "Ponyologie" is your place to be.

We also have an area for Topics related to the Fandom itself. It is called Bronytum. You can talk about the fandom itself in "Brony-Talk" or share and enjoy Fanart in "Fanart, Fanfic, Merchandinsing and Fanclub". You can find a lot of german Plushies and fanart there. We also have areas for music, pc-programms or the collectible card game. If you ever visit germany, you can try to visit a Meet-up. You can find the dates and locations in "Treffen".

Next there is Off-Topic. Here on Bronies.de Off-Topic is a pretty big thing. Whe have areas for music, television and games and also for real internetty-discussions in "Diskussionen". For you, this part of the forum ist probably not very interesting beacuse the postings there are usualy pretty long and complicated. Also, in most of the threads there you talk about something political form germany, wich probably is nothing you're interested in.

But you should definitely take a look in "Spaß & Sinnlos" where we do all the crazy internet stuff.

So, i hope i was helpfull and i wish you a lot of fun here on Bronies.de
Hello there,

Herrmannsegermann (we all call him only "Herrmann") hat forgot a few things - first is, when you look at his name, is the different color. That marks the "Guardians", whitch we called Moderatoren - if you need to know anything, mostly you can write him (or another Moderators - look at the colored names!) a message. The fast way for that, you can click the button with the papercraft and the letters PN.

We had more than one type of the Moderatoren; i try to show them to you:

- Orange ones are for specially types of threads, whitch we call "unterforen" (subordinate forums - i think, it's easyer to understand for you). Whitch moderator is specialised for what subordinated forum, that's what you can see if you look at the top of the subordinated forum.

- Magenta (a type between red and pink) moderators are called "Super Moderator"; they can mostly do in all forums they'r work (not like the Orange ones, whitch can do it only in they'r subordinated forums) if anything is needed. They're the 2.nd part after the Admins (with the force).

- The both green ones are the admin Fabr0ny and his "right Hand", Blue Sparkle. They have the power to do anything - but, they let do mostly the moderators do theyr stuff.

- The blue ones are the technicans - is something go wrong with the forum, they try to fix that.

The normal users are not allowed to write in "Mod-Schrift", whitch is the color from the names of the Moderators (that's the way, while i used a little bit different colors).

And on the second, if you want to put up images here in some treads, you must upload them by a imagehoster. that's the easyest way - and the best, 'cause you (and all other here on the forum) had not more space than 100 mb - that's not so many space.

if you will set a image in one thread, you can do it in 2 different ways:

Way One (Öffnen)
Way Two (Öffnen)
[img][img]

And the third thing: we had a warning system (sorry, but Google didn't had another, better word for "Verwarnungssystem" ). That's not so easy to explain, but i'll try: if you make bad things, you'll get points. if you reach 100, you'll get kicked out from the Fandom (sorry, if that is hard to read, but it's the easyest way to discribe).

So way,
You can always ask - nobody here eats you if you will ask something. RD wink

(my English is not the best - but, i hope, that is good to understand for you.)[/img]

Thank you all for all the information you provided. I'll keep it in mind.
