What is going around these Resonators and XMPs? Derpy confused

@Fluttershy1989
Matthias Reim's songs are great! I just heard "Verdammt, ich liebe dich", I really liked the lyrics!

Well, the RedFactionDAy has something to do with those XMPs and Resonators^^
Also it is not today RD wink
That XMPs and the REsonators are coming from A game called Ingress. You should really check it out if you are interested in Augmented Reality, Social Games or GEocaching. Twilight smile

Did you mean New Zealand? I haven't travelled much, so I don't know much about many other countries...
Do you travel a lot? If so, what countries have you been?

Yes, i meant new zealand^^ just didn't know how to write it anymore.
No, unfortunately i am not able to travel. I haven't got the money to do so. I just know that new zealand is beautiful because i saw photos and videos of it. Lord of the rings has been made there, too. And a part of harry potter ( the black lake for example) too i guess.

next month i am going to start working so i will habe the money to travel more soon.

Since now, i only have been in italy ._.

In the entire span of my 16 years-lasting life I have been in many places.
I've been to Poland, Mallorca, Italy, the Netherlands (regulary),Egypt, France, the United Kingdom... And a crazy place called Bayern. RD laugh
And lets not forget Spain, Turkey... Luxemburg (Don't know how it is named in America ^^)
Also, I travel a lot through germany... Twilight smile

Cheerilee awesome The game looks really cool!
I should try this, but after I change my phone to better one. The GPS and internet will kill my batteries in minutes...

Also, is bayern really that crazy? RD laugh

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Dominik - 17.07.2014, 01:56

Hey, you know what? My battery also drains within 50 minutes. But that is not because of the GPS or the Data, but a problem from the game itself. For this case I bought an Akkupack which gives my Phone 5 times of recharge (Lasting around 5 hours).
And for emergency cases I also got my Netbook... It also Lasts for 4 hours if standby is activated, but the Akkupack recharges better and faster.

And yeah, the people from Bayern are really crazy! (But in a good, funny way Twilight happy)

You really prepared a lot to play that game! Pinkie happy
I am carrying packs of akku on the way (I have extra 2 batteries for my phone and another 'BoostTurbine 2000' for recharging).
But I have to use all of them to keep up for one day, even though I am not playing the game!

Cheerilee awesome can you tell me more about Bayern?

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Atomicorn - 17.07.2014, 07:06

It's " bavaria" in english, and I am living there^^

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - LuminFlare - 17.07.2014, 07:16

@Atomicorn

Tell me more about Bavaria FS grins

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Atomicorn - 17.07.2014, 07:39

Well.. I have never really been somewhere else in germany so i don't know what's different in other regions.
We do eat many brezels and "brötchen" is called "semmel" FS grins
One time a year, there is a festival called "festwoche" in the city i live, where many people in "trachten" drink a lot of beer RD laugh
Generally, people from other states often say the men and women from bavaria are more inhibited and conservative than people who come from other states.
I think each person is different, but thats a little bit right if i think of employer, for example.

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - LuminFlare - 17.07.2014, 08:22

RD laugh Haha Festwoche sounds nice.
Do you also drink a lot of beer? What are the other things that people do in Festwoche?

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Fulcrum - 17.07.2014, 08:39

No, i not drink any alcohol anymore ( the last few times were all bad ideas.. ^^)
And beer doesn't hit my taste.
Well on the festwoche there are some exhibitions, too. There a also things sold like
Cooking utensils as far as i know.

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - LuminFlare - 17.07.2014, 09:16

Why cooking utensils? RD laugh
You mean like frying pans or spatulas?

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Atomicorn - 17.07.2014, 09:22

Yes. I have not been there for a long time so these are the only examples i know^^ of course there are sold more diffenrent kinds of innovations.
I really don't like the bavarian music which is played there , so i always keep myself away from the festwoche FS grins

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - LuminFlare - 17.07.2014, 09:28

Aah I see Big Grin

Well I like how the festivals are held there... The place I'm staying doesn't have much stuff going on...

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Atomicorn - 17.07.2014, 12:05

So where do you come from?

Atomicorn, if you ever, ever have the opportunity to travel through germany, you should check out Aachen (Aix-la chapelle).
The guys here (me involved) are even more crazy than you (and thats very hard to do so)!
(Also, there are some crazy guys (me involved) who ran around in the middle of the night to play a game (and again a reference to Ingress. Damned, this game is everywhere! RD laugh)).
Also, if someone wants to chat private with me, feel free to add me on Skype: Domnitrolp
(No, I am not Let's playing (anymore).)

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Atomicorn - 17.07.2014, 13:37

It's true that I am a little bit odd, but my openion is that these are the best people ^^
I do have skype, but my Computer is kinda shitty so I don't use it very often. But I'll add you when im coming on it the next time. You're in the "sei weiblich" conference too, aren't you.
