Since 6:30 am.
I can go home at 14:30 pm.
Just so much time left to get rid of.

Tomorrow, i will go outside and have some "döner" for reward xD

Oh, this early?

Well, just remember the words of a wiser man than me: Time isn't a straight line, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff. [Bild: cl-drw-shrug.png]

And the word Döner is so weird in an english sentence. Well, it's also weird in a german sentence because it's a really funny word, but this... just wow. It looks so wrong.

Yes. Thats true FS grins
My french teacher said when i asked her what "döner" means in french: such things don't exist there Lyra eww
But that was false, when i visited paris, i ate döner with french fries in it! It was very delicious! xD

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Whitey - 23.09.2014, 09:57

Oh my, it's getting like Pulp Fiction in here. [Bild: pc-fomy.png]

So, what they're calling a Döner in Paris, then?

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Atomicorn - 23.09.2014, 09:59

I was 13 so i can't remember as what we ordered it . Shrug

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Whitey - 23.09.2014, 10:08

Okay.

But it's a bit weird, don't you think? Traveling all the way to France, and then ordering a somewhat german dish that's supposed to resemble turkish food, wich is then made my french people. Wat? It's like eating in an chinese restaurant in germany full of vietnamese people. And yes, i did that. Talk about internationality.

[Bild: rd-aj-6.png]

Also, i just checked Wikipedia. Apparently there isn't even a french article about this.

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Atomicorn - 23.09.2014, 10:12

Lol xD

Well actually, the döner was created in germany. Ok, i guess by a turkish guy.

It was very unused, but i enjoyes it. A pitty that they don't rape this food this way here in germany xD

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Whitey - 23.09.2014, 10:16

Rape the... what? I really hope you mean a metaphorical foodrape here. xDD

Oh my, the pictures in my head right now...

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Atomicorn - 23.09.2014, 10:40

Hahah yes i meant it that way not the physical way to rape food xD

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Whitey - 23.09.2014, 10:47

Nya, let's not get into wich foods are good for raping. o.O

But if i ever start a band, we will so have a song called "Rape the Döner." [Bild: cl-rd-dealwith.png]

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Atomicorn - 23.09.2014, 10:51

Oh this sounds awesome Cheerilee awesome
I wonder why nobody has written this song before RD laugh

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Whitey - 23.09.2014, 10:59

It will be a quiet love song with piano music, of course. Everything else just wouldn't make sense. [Bild: derpy-ice.png]

Not everyone can be a sensitive lyrical genius like myself. xD

But you wouldn't believe what songs and band names exist. Just a few days ago i found some weird metal band called "100000 Tonnen Kruppstahl." And a friend of mine showed me some unknown bavarian punk band once, wich has songs like "Orbit ohne Zucker" and of course the all-time classic "Bockwurst Dance." RD laugh

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Atomicorn - 23.09.2014, 11:42

Hahah thats nice!
I know a band called "vater karotte" . They produce really crazy songs with weird sounds in it, like the scream of godzilla.

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - Whitey - 23.09.2014, 13:56

Yay, and they're even on youtube! Time to listen to Möhrchenmusik!

That's not english, but it fits really well. xD

In the US they just call it Kebab :I

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!) - LuminFlare - 24.09.2014, 02:46

Isn't it called kebab in most countries?
Google says it's brochette in French

I guess. But it is actually pretty rough to get good kebab here in the US.
They have so much other real good food that they don't really care for kebab.

I want some good ol' german kebab :'I
