I never had a ps2. I do only have a ps1 and my favorite and first ff game is ff9, but ff7 is very good too.

Ye mustn't know anything 'bout the story. It's explained in three sentences at wikipedia Trust me. However, the atmosphere of the game is great indeed.

I remember FF8 and the combat sys there. Ain't it changed slightly over the course of the series? Seems so.
I love to see the long fighting scenes and combos without any haste, thanks to the round based sys, hurray!
