I must say that i really like Google's new AI feature. It's really so much fun to type in questions or statements in the Google search, and then AI tries to answer them correctly. Of course this feature is probably not always completely perfect, and it can still make mistakes sometimes, but despite that i still like this new and cool feature a lot. I'm pretty sure not everyone likes this new feature, but i think it's awesome and i also have no problem with it. But what about you guys? do you also like the new Google AI feature? or if not why don't you like it? I would like to read your opinions about this interesting topic.

Oh, btw - to prove you are a human, that's to all: try to implement stupid mistakes into your online comms and emails. LLMs are trained to do everything CORRECTLY. We humans understand whenever someone uses stylistic devices to get a point across - so I'd just urge everyone to just break the register of normal conversation at any point where it is at least socially tolerated! :3

Google AI is something i use rarely now, because currently, i use Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and Perplexity, mainly. I personally find those AI features even better and more useful. It's Perfect for asking questions, writing statements/personal opinions, or also for writing whole scenarios  I mainly do Fairy Tail scenarios, or also crossovers with One Piece and other anime, and it's always exciting to see what kind of dialogues AI produces. Ok, those are making mistakes sometimes, and it's not completely perfect, but i still think it is great most of the time. Others would shake now their heads, because they would tell me i'm too much focusing and relying on AI, and me being more mature these days, just accepting it if people might get triggered by that.

But on the other hand, i also personally think AI is just normal these days and i try to adapt into new trends rather than being against it. Of course i'm still critical about some AI or technology and don't follow that trend blindly, but i'm not one of those germans who hate technology or AI. I'm still only critical against some AI or technology, like as an example, i'm still against AI replacing voice actors, because i still want to hear real people voicing animated characters. And AI voices sound too emotionless in my opinion, and i dislike Youtube videos where people use AI and i watched a few of those and i didn't like it at all. I rather still prefer hearing the real voices of Youtubers, instead of awful AI voices.  People like those would probably also tell me, i don't write fanfics just for myself anymore, but that's not true because i still write anime stories and dialogues, for myself without using any AI, but it's rarely these days and only if i want to, so i see no problem with that.

We can thank the mainstream media with their overuse of the term AI in clickbait posts for the current equivalent of the 90s computer scare (where news outlets claimed private use would take up more than the world's electricity output and destroy earth by the 2000s and it made people want computers banned, lmao). If anyone here is interested in the real numbers regarding AI's global impact, you can find them here and they are pretty tame considering tech constantly improves in regards to energy consumption.

As someone who also works in coding, I find AI pretty useful in supporting me to find bugs caused by stupid mistakes I make that would take me ages to find if I do at all (like putting . instead of ;, have fun finding that one in thousands of lines of code).

About AI, i can also say that nowadays, i use it mainly for letting it write Fairy Tail character dialogues. Because currently, I'm not motivated anymore to continue my fanfics, and write stories on my own like i used to do. So my biggest hobby right now, is using AI for anime, and also for western cartoons, fanfic story writing, and see what dialogues AI can produce, while I type in the story myself of course, but AI then does the rest with producing the dialogues. But maybe someday, I can finally be motivated again to continue my own fanfics, and write on my own again, and also finally write dialogues on my own again, without possibly using AI. But until then, AI will do it for me instead.
