The rifle is noted for its use of caseless ammunition.
It was primarily a project of West Germany, though it was also of significance to the other NATO countries as well. In particular, versions of the G11 were included in the U.S. Advanced Combat Rifle program.
In 1990, H&K finished the development of the G11, intended for the Bundeswehr and other NATO partners. Although the weapon was a technical success, it never entered full production due to the political changes of German reunification and lack of procurement contract. Mein Bruder kommt mit dem IS super klar, was ich aber toll find, das er den Panzer mit der 100er fährt und nicht mit der 122er. Er sagt das bringt mehr, auch weil der zweite Turm ein komplettes downgrade beim IS ist 
Dieser VK ist doll :3. Die 7,5/5,5cm Waffe 0725 ist ein richtig schönes Wäfflein (sagt der Name ja schon aus)

Als ich die IS hatte, konnte man sich neben eine IS3 stellen und die IS3 hat nicht die Gun runter auf die Wanne bekommen, und beim Turm einer IS die vor und zurück fährt die Schwachstellen zu treffen ist sehr schwer. Die IS hingegen kam noch gerade so auf die Wanne der IS3 und konnte ihr somit immer Dmg machen.

Glaub mir sobald etwas auf dich schießt das mehr als 180mm Durchschlag hat bringt dir die Wanne des IS-3 herzlich wenig, da ist es bedeutend intelligenter zu wackeln und mit dem Gegner zu spielen, von "average Spielern" bekommt man dann immermal Abpraller (Im spitzen Winkel auf die Frontplatten oder die Seite). Außerdem hat er ja den "magischen Schottpanzerungsbonus". Unten ist ein Bild wo man sieht warum bei der IS-Reihe immer mal Geschosse wirkungslos in der Seite verschwinden, wenn man zu hoch schießt muss man erst durch die Schottpanzerung, dann durch die Ketten und letztlich noch durch Panzerung in einem 30° Winkel. Ergibt wie unten gezeigt ca. 240 mm Panzerung wenn man nicht perfekt im 90° Winkel zur Seite steht, unterhalb der Schottpanzerung ist die Seite zwischen 25mm und 130mm dick.
