Im 25 and im a Brony for about an year or so. I came to the fandom between Season 2 and 3.

2. How much bronies is there in your country? Are they teenagers, students or adults? More men or women?

Werer Probably the non english speaking country with the most bronys. If you can belive in the statistics of EQD, brony census and so on. Bronies.de itself is probably the biggest Forum for geman speakers so its usercount is an estimate

The age Range is the Typical Brony age range. So between like 13 and 30 or something. We still have older members though.

About 80% of the Fandome are male (see brony surveys and stuff). That is refelcted in the German fandom too. So there much more Colts than Fillies.

3. How old is fandom? I mean, when it started to grow?
I have no idea. But i guess that the german fandom isnt much younger compared to the origin since its origin is in the internet and there where probably some germans around at that time.

4. Where do you meet? On facebook or some other website?
Theres a Facebook Group and this forum. Those are the biggest internet meeting places i know of.

First conventions: We have the Galacon in Stuttgart which is for al of europe. Last year was the first time and it was pretty small but its starting to grow.

Besides that there some smaller events too.

We have lots of meetups. Usally in bigger citys and somtimes people from all over the Country are coming.

In southern germany you could go to a meetup like every second weekend or so and the size is usally between 10 - 50 people. Today is a regulars table in Augsburg and next weekend is Bronymuc in munich (bigger meetup for the souther region)

We even have som official Brony Associations run by bronys in out country that oarganize meetups and stuff. For Examle Bronys München e.V.

I dont know of popular ones. But there probably some musicians around even if they arent that popular.

I never have read a translates Fanfic but i have heard of translations

Yep we have German Dash

But i dunno if shes accepted in all of the german fandom. I like her though.

Yeah some articles here and there some where bad some neutral but the reaction is pretty moderate especiall if you compare it to the US.

Official: Yeah some. Merch isnt that big in our country because we have a german competitor called "filly" on the marked that is way more popular by the target audience and thus gets more shelvespace.

But we have some nice artisans that do lots of pony related stuff (plushies and co in a very good [and expensive] quality)

10. Is there dubbing for MLP in your country? Do you like it? If there is no dubbing – would you like it to exist or not?

Yes there is. And no i dont really like it. But some of use arent capable of unterstanding english that good that they are able to watch the non dubbed episodes. So its good we have a dub. (everything in our country is dubbed by the way)

Not really. I hope it will exist for a long time XD

A little critique to the questionaire:

It would be better i the questions arent that complex. You have like 3 to five different question under a number. Sometimes even to two different topics. Its easier to answer if you make more numbers with more specific questions.

I'm (as you can see) Blue Sparkle, 22 years old, Supermoderator on Bronies.de and president of the Bronies Bayern e.V. I'm Brony since March 2013. I like to write and translate MLP Fanfictions.

Quiet a lot. I know several in all areas of Germany, and in all levels of society.

3. How old is fandom? I mean, when it started to grow?

It really startet in 2011 I think.

We use this Website and the "Treffen" ("Meet Up") Part of the forum.

Yes we have plenty of them all over germany. If you want you can go almost every week on a Meet up in your region. Most happens in the bigger cities, but it starts also to spread to the countryside.
Most Meetups have around 20 pariticants. But there are also smaller with around 10 oder bigger like the "Lunafest" with much more than 100 participants.
The biggest one is of course the Galacon at Stuttgart.

But we have lots of artists, writers and producers of customs. I never counted them, but it appears to me, that there are hundreds.
We have a list of all fanfictions written from artists here at the forum.

And yes, there are translaters. For Example, I do so.

there are all kinds of reactions. Most ist indifferent, but there are also haters and supporters.

I'm Hagi, I am 23 years old and I am actually from Austria not Germany. I am a fanfic writer and translator.

We have a lot of Bronies in Austria but I do prefer the german ones

2011, I don't know exactly but I joined at Season 1 Episode 6 I think.

There are a whole bunch of meetups. Nearly every town has one in Germany. The mayor cities have especially big ones like Munich or Hamburg

Since I am very forward with my appearence and demanor I usually don't get negative reactions. And if I do is simply shrug them off but that happens hardly ever.

Course we have Blindbags. We also have some very talented artists on this board that kan manufacture nearly everything.

There is a german Synchro for the show but I prefer the english show
