Agreed, but for Apple, there's one exception: the iPad. Apple's phones and laptops are pretty bad for their price, but the tablet is really good considering it costs less than Samsung's newest tablets.

The question you need to ask yourself with this (i do it with all my friends and clients)
1. What is the purpose of the phone? Gaming, social media, Web, camera, ect...
2. What size is OK for you? Phones go from4"-6" this days the easy way to know your size is to ask someone with a phone to hold it and to see how you like the size
3. What is your budget? Samsung is nice but expensive. There are many other brands

1. Well I usually use it for web surfing, but I also use it for reading and chatting too.
2. I don't know, I usually like smaller one, but then again, you can't really read stuffs on there easily if it's too small, so I don't really know.
3. I haven't set specific budget yet, but not too expensive ones.

RE: the english Laberthread (the fine british way!)
I totally recommend HTC. Mine, the One, may be a little bit expensive, but it's super fast, the screen is marvellous and it fits perfectly into my hands. Furthermore, unlike Samsung's phones, its case is not made from plastic, and in my opinion that's a huge advantage.

If you want to read something, get an e reader. The first reason is the run-time. My reader needs to be charged ones in a month at most, whereas my phone is charged every night. The second reason is the better screen for reading. E readers have a screen that closely resembles real books, with the advantage that you don't need an outer light source.

I like books like Fahrenheit 451...
I don't know, there are tons of them, and that is why I need recommendations, to tell what is good and what is not
