Von daher will ich jetzt einfach mal was fertig kriegen. ^^
"Hey you!! What're you lookin' so down for!? How 'bout it? Want me to read your fortune!?
A bright future! A happy future! Oh, but don't hold it against me if it's not a great prediction!"
Come, let's ride the ferris wheel
Where fireworks are blooming!
Let me tell you how I feel
When light cascades are fuming.
Come, let's hear the mascot chat,
The pathway to tomorrow.
Fortune telling kitty cat
Won't speak of any sorrow.
Follow me and watch the play,
Our roles are long decided.
Let's not waste a single day
Until we are divided.
Let me thank you, flower girl,
For all your boiling anger,
Every laugh and blush and swirl
Amidst this buzzing clangor.
Let this night last evermore
The greatest show's beginning.
Here with you my heart can soar,
The ferris wheel keeps spinning.
Precious moments full of bliss,
The carousel's rotating.
Just a word and just a kiss,
Outside there's nothing waiting.
Rattling coasters clank and spark,
The colored rails are bending.
Let's forget what's dark and stark,
Before the show is ending.
Come, let's take the last of rides,
The golden saucer's humming.
Seconds feel like thousands nights,
But swiftly dawn is coming.
„What you pursue will be yours... but you will lose something dear.“
Soldier First Class
I didn't care. The planet was dying and nobody cared. Everyone was just happy to have trains and electric lights and central heating to warm their homes in the city. Everyone was so busy living that they didn't have time to care.
But I was different. I didn't care for anything, not even my own life, let alone the lives of others or the well-being of the planet. It all had nothing to do with me. I felt nothing... until I met them... and her.
Suddenly I was surrounded by all those people who cared so deeply for everything around them, they stood up to fight for a better world. Not a dying world of cheap, short-sighted comfort, but a sumptuous world of lasting health and beauty. A world that would support us, as we supported it. They were the protectors of the planet. And slowly, imperceptibly I started to care too.
I was just a mercenary, but I realized that I could become much more. I realized that it didn't matter what you are, but what you strive to become.
I let myself be swept away by the avalanche that would change the world forever.
It all started here. That was it. Opening: Bombing mission.
Highway Chase to Asgard
The lights of the highway traffic are rushing past me, the world is blurring. Fenrir howls as I speed forward. The great wolf is breathing fire and smoke, roaring and growling in the heat of battle.
We ride like valkyries over the rainbow bridge, heading to the promised land before us. Thrymheim awaits, the great hall of Skadi, goddess of snow-covered mountains. Beside me flies Odin, protecting our group from any harm. The dark of the underpass engulfs us like an endless black void, but finally we see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Our pursuers fall away. For now we are save. Finally we leave the city behind and reach the endless plains outside. The smoke is fading and makes way for emerald grass and golden fields.
We have escaped the concrete canyons of Midgard and reached the heavenly kingdom of Asgard, blessed with abundance and fertile lands. Somewhere down below the great mother of earth is watching over us.
We've discovered a grand new world.
Finally we breathe fresh air... transfused with the subtle hint of a winter to come.
Her Last Words
Immersed in iridescent, ethereal light, a girl is praying, kneeling between the otherworldly ruins of a lost civilization, like a blossoming flower at the end of the world.
"I'll be going now. I'll come back when it's all over." Those where her last words.
What am I?
I'm broken, I feel torn and confused... and betrayed. Everything is fading away, I can't even trust my own memories anymore. A transparent apparition flickers before my eyes. Is this real or am I just dreaming? It would be too good to be true. What am I... what is my reality anyway?
Can I even go on? Am I allowed to? It's all my fault... please forgive me.
The Well beneath the Moon
Do you remember the well beneath the moon? It seems like it was lifetimes ago. We weren't close then, but that night I felt that we were. We would just sit there, watch the star ocean unfold around us and talk about the future.
The future seemed bright then. I wanted to change the world. I wanted to become like him, my great idol, our deadly enemy. Now it's hard for me to see the future. Everything seems to be crashing down around me. I feel like the end is near. Or maybe, with her death, the end has already happened and somehow I'm still alive.
I don't know why, but maybe I have a fleeting notion. Whenever the path feels too dark to walk, I remember the well beneath the moon and the flowers in the slum. Whenever I do, I feel like I have the strength to fight on. Somehow... we will make everything right. We'll carry on and see this through to the end.
I want to sit under the moon again, surrounded by stars and flowers, the sound of gurgling water in the air, and feel the same peace I felt that night so many years ago.
Let's go... somehow we will make it happen. We will save the world.
Countdown to the Final Battle
Death comes from above. The summoned meteor of black magic fills the sky and looms foreboding over the surface, coming closer with each passing minute.
Titanic weapons have awakened, cannons roar and the realms of Gaia shudder in the face of ultimate destruction. Holy powers gather and the protectors of the earth travel north to meet their fate inside the core of the planet.
Gods and men clash at the end of the world. The crisis has come and the final battle begins.
And somewhere, somehow... a flower girl is watching.
Fabula Nova
We cease to be, taking with us all traces of our very existence, vanishing like the ancient civilizations before us. The lifestream flows steadily and the wheel of time is turning. Eons pass and eternities follow. The great cycle continues. All around, the glittering cosmos is living on.
The scions of new life blossom in the infinite universe like flowers in the slum. From fire comes rain and once again the healing winds will wave over the open ranges of the surface. New life is hatching under the rays of a magnificent sun and finally a new planet beckons.
The stage is set and the curtain is lifted. A new tale of struggle and destiny begins.
The show opens. Fabula Nova.
